South Terminal at Miami International Airport (MIA)

Use South Terminal as your shortcut to the right gates, nearby food, and the next airport page you need. Most listed options appear after security, which is useful once you clear the checkpoint.

About South Terminal

South Terminal is the only one of MIA's three terminals split across two concourses, H and J, connected to each other rather than built as one straight corridor. Shopping outweighs dining here by a wider margin than elsewhere at MIA: 42 shops against 21 restaurants, close to two shops for every place to eat. That ratio is roughly inverted from North Terminal's. The two-concourse layout and the store counts trace to the Miami-Dade Aviation Department's services and amenities listing; that listing did not include airline assignments, gate ranges or checkpoint locations for either concourse, so this description does not state them.
