Terms for using FlyIndex as an airport planning resource
These terms explain how FlyIndex may be used as a public informational website and what limits apply to the information provided on the site.

FlyIndex is for informational airport planning use. The site is intended to help travelers understand airport layouts, timing considerations, and on-site services before a trip.
FlyIndex is not an airport authority, airline, government agency, or TSA service. Official airport, airline, and security guidance should control when there is any difference.
No user accounts or public submissions
FlyIndex does not currently provide user accounts, commenting, or direct user content publishing. The site is designed for reading and navigation, not for hosted user activity.
Accuracy and availability
Content may change quickly
Airport operations, terminal assignments, concession lineups, hours, and security guidance can change without notice.
We aim for usefulness, not guarantees
We work to keep pages clear and current, but cannot guarantee that every page will be complete, error-free, or available at all times.
Data license
FlyIndex compiles and publishes its own datasets, including the historical TSA checkpoint wait times and CBP immigration wait times shown on each airport page and offered as JSON downloads. These compilations are the property of FlyIndex and are made available under the terms below rather than placed in the public domain.
Permitted. You may cite individual figures from these datasets — a peak wait, a quiet time slot, a single airport's numbers — in articles, research, reporting, and non-commercial work, provided you attribute FlyIndex and link to the airport page the figure came from. You may query the JSON downloads for personal use and for building non-commercial tools.
Not permitted. Bulk extraction, redistribution, resale, or republication of the datasets in whole or in substantial part is not permitted without written permission, whether by scraping the site, harvesting the JSON endpoints, or reproducing the data in a competing product, database, or model training corpus offered to third parties.
The underlying wait times originate with the relevant government agencies; FlyIndex claims rights in its compilation, structuring, and presentation of that information, not in the underlying facts. Requests for broader licensing, including commercial and research use, are welcome at[email protected].
