Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – T5 Arrivals is closed.

It shut with Terminal 5 at LAX, which stopped handling passengers on 28 October 2025 and has since been demolished. Nothing on this page is bookable, and the hours and phone number it used to carry have been removed rather than left to mislead.

A Los Angeles fixture and virtual oasis for those in need of a caffeine boost, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has the feel of a classic American coffeehouse, serving a wide selection of local and global brews, as well as mouthwatering pastries and baked goods.

Finding it

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf – T5 Arrivals was in Arrivals in Terminal 5 at Los Angeles International Airport. It was airside, past the security checkpoint.

About this location

This Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf sat in the arrivals area of Terminal 5, which shut for good on 28 October 2025, at the end of a week-long wind-down, for a full demolition and rebuild not due to finish until 2028. It is not operating and cannot be visited; the building itself no longer functions as a terminal. The airlines that once used Terminal 5 moved elsewhere at LAX when it shut: JetBlue to Terminal 1, American Airlines to Terminal 4, Spirit to Terminal 2, none of them carrying this arrivals kiosk along with them. Passengers who remember it from a previous trip through Terminal 5 will find no equivalent stand in its old arrivals hall until the terminal reopens, years from now.
