Finding it

Carlo's Bake Shop Express – Pharmabox is in D-34 - 2nd Level Departures in North Terminal at Miami International Airport. It is airside, past the security checkpoint, so allow for the queue before you count on it.

North Terminal has 51 places to eat and 60 shops in this directory; the earliest opens at 4am.

Hours against the security queue

Across the week, MIA security runs longest around 5pm at a median of 16 minutes, and lightest around 11pm at 2 minutes.

Queue figures are medians from FlyIndex's MIA wait-time record, not a live reading.

About this location

Like its South Terminal counterparts, this is a coin-and-card vending machine rather than a staffed bakery, positioned at D-34 on the North Terminal's 2nd level departures. It runs 24 hours, so it's one of the few things dispensing food here after Peet's and the other D-concourse counters close for the night. MIA has two more of these Carlo's machines, both in the South Terminal, also open around the clock. Its draw is exactly that it needs nobody behind a counter at 3am; a slice of cake from a machine near Gate D-34 beats nothing at all when everything else on this concourse is shuttered.

Other options in North Terminal

All past the same checkpoint, so you can reach them without clearing security again.
